Several sink holes have opened up in a local shopping center area. Over the past few months, the sinkholes have been blocking access to hundreds of parking spaces and raising concerns for some shoppers and store owners.  Some holes are a few feet wide. The property was formerly swamp land and used as a dumping ground. Testing would need to be done to confirm what kinds of materials are underneath the blacktop.
